To start the new year off, let’s put a little money on the line to help you reach your goals! Are you ready to commit 100% to achieving your fittest self? Let’s make 2017 that year!

Why are we running his challenge?: We genuinely want you to reach your goals. Having the accountability of a challenge, food log, a trainer who cares (and a little money on the line) is a great way to jump start the new year and whatever goals you are looking to reach. Our hope is that this challenge will not just be a quick fix but an actual lifestyle change so that you are always living in the body that you deserve and want.

Dates: Monday, January 9th through March 31st. Sign up asap!

Categories:1. Strength gain 2. Fat loss. These are the two most popular client goals. We will measure each category in different ways because the Styku and XBody cannot accurately measure the categories with their numbers. We had to get creative!

Strength will be measured through a modification of the military fitness test (because of our equipment): 2 minutes of pushups, 2 minutes of squats and 2 minutes of situps. This will be judged based on a numerical improvement in the 3 scores’ average.
Fat loss will be measured through the Styku machine’s body fat %. 
We will measure you in the first two categories the first week of the challenge and the last week. It is your choice if you want to measure any time in between. We recommend measuring progress, at least for body fat %, every two weeks.

Food Journal: Nutrition is extremely important in any goal you are looking to achieve and most people think that it is the hardest. It is also one of the most confusing aspects of health because of conflicting information. Keeping a food journal is a really awesome way to help keep you accountable and make healthy changes. This is not required but highly recommended. 

Nutrition/ Lifestyle Questions: Andrea Rodgers, our most recent addition to our trainer pool is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and is more than happy to set up 10 minute appointments to go over any nutrition questions or food journals. Remember, there is no perfect diet for everyone, it is very individual!! But of course, don’t forget about the other parts of health- sleep, stress, emotional wellness and happiness.
